There once was a sailor, who was very stressed
He saw the Wishing Star, and realized that it could make all that stress away
So he left harbor, and started chasing the star
But he knew that his sails wouldn’t be enough, and so started building
Space was made for the generators and tanks he would need, and packed nearly everything he had into the storage closet where it from there on would collect dust
He built massive engines onto the sides of his ship, they were so large that they drag the ship down to the point that occasionally water would splash onto the deck
And the engines collapse into it selfs, with all that work sinking into the ocean
But the star was to alluring to give up on, so he built the engines again but slightly different this time
And the engines collapsed again, over and over and over and
And one day after a long long time the engines didn’t collapse into themselves, though the boat at this point looked like it might collapse itself
But they didn’t start either, so he did what he has done for years and started over again
Some times they would tear themselves apart or explode or short themselves out, but more and more often he would just start again because he thought of another way of making it
And one day as another explosion scared his ship, he looked back at his star and the raged state of his ship and back at his star
And with tears in his eyes he put down his wrench, having realized he wouldn’t be flying his ship to that star with the little progress he had made over all these years
He called his friends, telling them what he had been doing and listening to their advice and wisdom
He cleared some of the rooms and started unpacking all that stuff he had stowed away oh so long, everything was given a place from the flag being flown to the birdhouse being put on the deck
It still is aimed at the star with its sail is still raised, but the ship now receives decoration and extentions and repairs
Though a good portion of the generators still wirl, they now do so to light and heat the ship instead of providing the power for the engines to tear themselves apart
