Normal order of needs:
- survival
- love/belonging
- power/meaning
- freedom
- fun
These can get mesed up in order under desorders or stress, cousing problems.
When the order gets messed up or you get stressed trying to satisfy one of the intermidiaries the range of acsessable emotions gets decreased while the needs remain the same, and thus less optional emotions get used to try to satisfy it, generaly leading to self destructive behaviors. The therapy for this is (slowly) expanding the range of acsessable emotions.
HALT: Hungry, Angry, Lonely, Tired
These tend to be bad for the emotional range, and simplaly removing those can expand it a bit.
